It also includes a USB cord to connect to a computer/laptop with internet connectivity to download books onto the LeapStart®️ system.

I primarily use this product with my 4-year-old son as an independent learning activity. He’s an emerging reader, so this learning system is perfect for him. He enjoys reading the “Go! Go! Cory Carson” story while using the stylus to tap on each word to have it read aloud. The cutest thing is he echos the words because it makes him feel like a fluent reader, just like his older brother who is 7 years old.
Even though my 7-year-old is a fluent, intermediate reader, he likes exploring the various capabilities of the success bundle. He has mastered all the learning skills presented on the system but he enjoys discovering “what happens when I tap this” on the pages of the books or the inside of the LeapFrog reader.
Mom Raves
In our home, we have limited to no screen time on weekdays, so having to lure the boys away from a tablet to use the product isn’t an issue but this product is an alternative to tablets. I love that my sons even grab the LeapFrog with my prompting. As a mom, my favorite feature is the headphone jack! LOL!
I monitor what my children are exposed to, and of course, with this product, I didn’t have to worry about what YouTube ad might pop up. I had peace because I knew exactly what my sons were doing and listening to.
With tablets and other electronic devices, it can be easy to forget about this type of product. However, I’m always impressed with LeapFrog products, and this one is no different. LeapFrog was always the hot ticket item when I was growing up, so it is nostalgic to see my boys enjoy it as well.
